Global Hyatt Corp changes its name.

6 July, 2009,Global Hyatt Corporation today announced that the company has changed its name to Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is the parent entity of companies that own, operate, manage and franchise hotel, resort, residential and vacation ownership properties under the brand names Hyatt®, Park Hyatt®, Andaz™, Grand Hyatt®, Hyatt Regency®, Hyatt Place®, Hyatt Summerfield Suites™ and Hyatt Vacation Club®.

¡°The name Hyatt Hotels Corporation leads with our brand and captures the company¡¯s core business,¡± said Mark Hoplamazian, president and chief executive officer, Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

¡°Operating in various countries around the world for decades has given Hyatt a global perspective as well as an understanding that making a difference in people¡¯s lives through authentic hospitality is an inherently local ¨C rather than global ¨C mission. Each of our hotels is rooted in and reflective of its market and community, which enables the members of the Hyatt family to provide the type of hospitality and experience our guests have come to expect.¡±

This change will not affect guests, employees or operations at the company¡¯s more than 380 hotel, residential and vacation ownership properties around the world.

Investigations revealed that the hotel guests the most health care

French professional organizations released the latest survey results show that the guests stayed at all types of hotels in France are most concerned about the health situation of the hotel.

This professional institution recently carried out a survey on the guests staying in the various type of hotel, including 250 foreign guests. Results show that 62% of those surveyed said they are most concerned about the health situation of the hotel and very dislike to see the dirty bedding and the bathroom left over the hair.

The survey also revealed that in addition to the healthy situation of the hotel, the guests are usually concerned about the comfort of bedding, the size of bathroom and the sound insulation of room, but the less and less were concerned about the hotel room, bar services.

In addition, the survey results also showed that 64% of the respondents are concerned about the star level of hotels, from their view, the star level is the embodiment of hotel health and comfort situation.

With the impression on French hotels, 61% of the respondents considered that the service is very good, as well as 48% of respondents believed that the hotel is modernization. However, some 34% of respondents thought that the facilities of French hotel are hardly satisfied, and the decorations are out of date.
