Formalities 1,Handing over the original of the valid passport ang visa for examination;
2,The original of the certificate of check-in in Shanghai (issued by the hotel or the police substation of the area where the lodging takes place);
3,Submitting the Foreigner Visa and Residence Permit Application Form completely filled up and one recent 2-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced photograph;
4,The original and the copy of the certificate of permanent residence in this city of the Chinese citizen with whom the foreigner seeks refuge or the Foreigner’s Residence Permit of the foreigner with whom the foreigner seeks refuge;
5,The original and the copy of the notarized family relation certificate;
6,The original and the copy of the notarized certificate that the foreigner who seeks refuge has no family relations overseas;
7,The original and the copy of the notarized certificate of source of finance of the foreigner who seeks refuge or of financial security of the person with whom the foreigner seeks refuge;
8,The original and the copy of the notarized certificate of house leasing (right of use) or property of the foreigner who seeks refuge or the person with whom the foreigner seeks refuge.
